Yea, great tire. I wouldn't go much below 25 psi. I had plenty squishy of a ride and enough traction on everything at 25.

spent literally all day under the truck... Long story short, I went too fast on initial install (because I had to get on the trail this weekend!!!) and now going back and tweaking some things. UCA's were squeaking like a mofo, figured out it was grease between the bushing and uca(shouldnt be there and got there from greasin up carelessly). Tore back-end apart to get ready for extended shocks and 3* shims this week, and pulled the coilovers to bring them back down a half inch(they were topping out way to much on the trail yesterday, straps may be in my future if backing off the preload doesnt solve it...) And lastly finally got to the extended brakelines, which was a huge pain in the ass. Fk flare nuts and sh!t that doesn't fit in OEM bracketry!!! Took way longer than it should have, whatever, droop for days now!

I'll snap a picture of the truck on stands tomorrow... not a fun place to have it, but it's gotta get done and i'm not paying someone else to do it.

    Cheers,

    ~Marc

I've had the same problem and thought it was the shocks over extending, turns out it's the miss alignment spacers knocking against the arm. Not a good sound to hear and it's frustrating how to get it to go away. I did an alignment thinking it would set everything up right. didn't work, still have the noise, so straps are in my future too. Toyota over tightens the brake lines, which usually results in rounding the hex fitting. I've learned to hit them with some lube the day before and take my time to work them loose. I almost went with the same tires. Truck looks great, keep it up.

Thanks Drew! Our trucks are pretty similar ;) I'll look into the misalignment spacers but it was happening with the stock UCA's too... I'll probably measure for and order straps/clevis and clevis mount from Kartek later this summer. For the brake lines I ended up using a big ol adjustable wrench that clamped the nut better than the flare did.

Should be a busy end of the week here, truck will likely be on stands till friday then i'm driving to wisconsin on sat  I'll definitely have all my tools with me lol. Should all be fine though.

How's your clearance with the new suspension? Do you just have more travel or did this also raise your truck?

Clearance is much better than stock with my current setup. The AP Expedition leafs lifted my rear to 24.5" hub to fender measurement. I can't remember what stock is but I got probably a bit over 3 inches over stock in the rear. In the front i'm at about 2.5" above stock height. My front coilovers are stock travel, not extended travel. My rear is 10.5" travel over stock 8" travel (I think that's what stock is...).

My rear measures 24.5" hub to fender with the TSB leaf pack and an AAL and my leafs are like flat... Interesting.

Honestly, its not easy to get an accurate hub to fender measurment with my wheels cuz the hub is so far in the wheel lol. Measure from shock mount to shock mount at ride height, that will give you a better more accurate idea.

I've always felt like hub to fender measurements involve a little guess work, because how do you determine exactly where the center of your hub is and just how straight up and down your tape measure is. haha

Ya, just measure shock to shock mount if you have stock locations... I can't get you mine at the moment cuz the truck is still floating on jacks.

I hooked the lip of the tape measure on the shock bolt head and measured up to the shock mount and got 20 5/8" on my passenger side. Didn't measure driver. I remeasured hub to fender and got 25" on passenger and 24" on passenger. Which is weird because last time (which was like a month ago) I had passenger at 24.5" and didn't measure driver, I think I was a little more level this time though. (I've always had a bad taco lean...)

Is that rear bumper really 125lbs? My front Demello 3-Hoop is only 115lbs...

My front bumper weighs 98lbs not counting the braces and mounting extras and all the bolts and nuts and my rear one is significantly heavier. So heavy I couldn't weigh it and I have a hard time moving it around by myself, where as I can throw my front one around pretty easily.

The front bumper is 10 gauge steel (just a little bigger than 1/8") while my rear bumper is 1/4" steel, so it's almost twice the thickness.

Last I knew Demello makes their bumpers out of 1/8" steel so they are a bit lighter while CBI uses 3/16" steel.

Yep 3/16" steel plate on the CBI bumper. It is listed as 125 lbs on their website.
    http://www.cbioffroadfab.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=27_29&products_id=81

And Demello uses 1/8" steel plate on their 3 hoop and list it as 120 lbs.
    http://www.demello-offroad.com/shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=27_24&products_id=227

It's amazing how much weight 1/16" can add really.
