Just trying to gage how to valve his rear based on how I did my vertical shocks... Might be tricky since his are not vertical. Mike, do you have a way to find out what your current valving is in your front and rear? Do you like the way your front handles for now?

 

Yea I had a good look at it and it seems they definitely need more comp for how they are angled.

 

They need mor comp and lots of rebound for sure.

I think he just wants the rears done he likes the front. They are brand new. But he will confirm that

I put the angle finder on them, if 90* =vertical, then the foxes are leaned back to about 60*. The are also angled in a bit too. IIRC, the angle finder read ~70*.

Yeah, the kings are nice. Getting the rear fixed will also involve new springs as my alcans are pretty much done.

I think the valving on the foxes is on the box they came in which I still have so I can get you that info.

 

I will recheck those angles but I thought they were angled in less than they were leaned back.

Haha, you thought they were to soft, monte that they were too firm and and I think they are perfect.

Replacing the rear springs and re-valving the shocks will likely determine what the truth really is.

 

They are way less leaned inward then back. I'm sure it's 10-20° in. If not 10-15

Nice, rears are much easier than coilovers... And yes if you have the current valving specs that would be most helpful!

 

Someone say valving party? Darn looks like i better just go ahead and order new suspension all around

I went up Red Grade yesterday on 20psi in my tires and it made me realize how shitty my truck really rides lol. Need to get some things sorted out.

 

I'm in on this valving party! I need to valve my rears stiffer!
