scoop to non scoop swap compatible

Hey guys, I have been reading alot of great posts. I am talking to another member about doing the swap and I want to make sure that A: silver is the same color across the board for most year and B: there is no size difference between years? I have an 09 silver and he has a 11 silver.
Also is the 09 a specail year? I have seen a few areas wherer they make comment about 09 having different items?..

Sizes should be the same. Don't know about color. '09 and up come standard with the Star Safety System, I beleive that is the only major change, and LED tail lights

 

09+ had different features than previous years but nothing to do with the hood. The size will be the same from 2005-2011. They are also all 1E7 - Silver Streak Mica.

 

Ok so now I need to check on paint colors. Does anyone no if there is a paint code forum between years?

 

i think i read that the silver Streak Mica. was ’05 to ’08 and that the silver on ’09+ are the same but a tad different from the ’05 to ’08 silver. so if you have a ’09 and he has ’11 silver should be the same.

edit: i could be wrong and they could all be the exact same.

 

As I stated above... They are all Silver Streak Mica (1E7) from 2005+.
