Scooped Hoods

go get a fiberglass hood from hanneman, 250 with a scoop just have it painted. you would also need hood pins the hold it down.

 

Shipping will be a nightmare. Probably $100, easy.

 

I can get a primered stock hood with a scoop, all oem for $104.50. I am hoping that I can make a deal with a paint shop for cheap. If I can get the price low enough, and ennough people to do it, then it would be worth it to those of us that want the scoop.

 

Make it a functional scoop and maybe I'd be interested. I have no interest in spending $500 for looks alone.

 

the dealer quoted me a entire radiant red hood (insert included) for $470

It will also whistle if the wind is coming from right direction.

 

I love my hood scoop. One of my favorite things on the truck. I get no glare at all only from people admiring it

 

If the price is right im down for sure...

 

Anyone know where I can buy a decal of a non-functioning scoop? I'm thinking for a couple bucks I can get the benefit of the scoop without having to re-paint the hood. Also, what can I expect in horse power gain?

 

i wanted the sport cuz i love the look of the hood.i would be down if price is right. if you were in socal my bro runs a shop maybe a deal could have been done.

I want one in BSP but $500 (when I already have a hood that works fine and well even though it aint scooped) is no bueno.

I would love one too, but not for 500, the scoop does nothing for function. I could use that money to improve performance. If you can get it cheap enough, I would like to have one.

Luckily I have the sport package already, but would have paid $500 for the factory scooped hood and paint to have one.

 

i wouldnt pay more than 400. they have them from the dealer for ~$490 here

 

anyone can buy one from certifit for 130 bucks...depending on where you live local shops will paint it fairly cheap.

I actually drove one and had the feeling that something was in the way. Looks cool but that's about it for me.

 

I got a buddy who wants an OEM hood scoop, the Toyota one. I know I have seen a link to TRDparts4u where they were selling them, but I can't seem to find them anymore... Anyone know where they went?
