I like the hood scoop but no way worth the $500 imho. I would spend the 500 towards something more functional like Skids, Sliders or towards a bumper...but that is just me. If someone wants to swap for my non hooded in Socal call me...but not going to shell out that type of money just for bump.

I would get a combat double deck spoiler to match the hood scoop!

Certifit is where I was going to get them for $104.50. Let me see about a group buy on them. Remember, these will only have a black shipping primer on them and will rust if you install it without the proper coating. I'll get back to you wants I speak to them.

You'd be surprised. My hood was quoted by 4 different reputable shops in my area for $600+ to paint the hood and grill. $450 for just the hood.

I found a dude here in Scottsdale to trade me his scooped hood for free! He had a 6" inch lift and he said the scoop interfered with his vision in a steep decline when off roading

Ok guys I just got off the phone with the Sales Manager from Certifit and they will not give any discounts for a group buy. They do keep the hoods in stock and depending on your location they will run you about $100. Here is the link to their site:

I know. I let the guy know that he could be looking at not only a large purchase on the hoods but other items in the future as well. He said he has no control over the pricing and there is nothing he can do.

Sorry guys I tried. If anyone can get a great deal on the paint job it would still be a good deal for $100.

Ok, I know this statement is going to raise some eyebrows, but I really find it hard to believe anyone would pay good money just to have a useless bump on their hood.

So many other FUNCTIONAL mods (with an actual benefit) could be had for the same money.

I guess some of you have more money than sense...:goingcrazy:

    Let the fireworks begin! :crapstorm:

Yeah I called two of the locations today and they have them for 85 and 90 dollars. Which seems really to good to be true even for just a plain primered hood. Anyone actually ordered these or can maybe swing by one of the locations and look at them.

Same here, I'd like to see what these things look like, and how close to OEM they are.
