Good catch. I didn't notice that it was square until you mentioned it. The one that you have installed looks just like the one they sent me. Unfortunately my phone is too long to fit between the tabs. Guess I will be returning it.

 

Which phone do you have? If you put the long magnet on the back and trim down the little nubs you should be good to go.

 

Samsung Note 9 with a very slim case. Misses fitting between the tabs by 1/8". I will probably just return it since I only bought it because of the 30% off.

I like how I got pretty much slammed for PM people this charger VS slamming the guy who was making the 3D printed ones.....

 

What happened? I didn't get any at all, the Scosche is the better product anyway. No tapping of wires, strictly plug and play, with a 10 watt charger instead of a 5 watt charger. Plus I like the raised bezel on the Scosche and the magnet that helps hold it in place. The other one is nice, and hopefully the quirks get worked out. But for $79.99 or $55.00 shipped this is the better option to me.

 

One guy got all pissy because I posted install directions for the Scoshe charger on that post. I PM'd you and him this charger. I was simply being helpful and trying to save people some headaches.

 

Ahhhhhhhhhh yes I remember that oh well, to me this is completely the better option. Install was 15 minutes tops, and worked perfect immediately and still does today. The other didn't work for me, it is what it is.

 

As an alternative, you could possibly grind down one of the tabs to help your phone fit.

 

Yeah, I considered that. I built a wireless charger last year for $20 and it works great so I will probably just keep it and return or sell this one. It definitely is a nice, high quality part for someone who doesn't have a big A$$ phone.

 

Just an update on this bitch, not 1 issue since install.
