So... i have a Pioneer 3500BHS... and while working on some wiring the stereo fell and scratched the screen.. It was my DUMB A$$ fault but is there anyway to fix it.. its not a deep scratch but very noticeable.. I called Pioneer and they sent me to a place in Charlotte who said they cant repair it for at least 2 months and its also 5 hours away.. I found the screen on ebay..but before i get into pulling a stereo apart (which the guy at the repair shop said it wouldnt be that hard) Is there any way to fix a scratch.. that wont make it worse.. Ive got alot of experience taking electronics apart and fixing some things but never done a stereo before...

I'd just put a new screen on it. It's not glass so I doubt you can polish it out or fix it.

You won't be able to get a scratch out of the screen. If you can replace it, that's your only option.
