I have a 05 4x4, when I turn left I was hearing a noise that sounded like the bearing going out. Last week, my ABS started tripping when breaking on a dry road at low speed. The ABS light came on and ABS no longer activates.

I replaced the wheel bearing today, it had puked its grease all over the ABS speed sensor. I cleaned it well and assumed that may have caused the ABS issue.

Now I hear a new noise turning left at speed. In the 30-40mph range, I get a scraping noise. I did some slow speed circles and it was sorta clicking, kinda like a bad u joint but I can no longer reproduce that.

Any ideas? I tried to record the noise but it's hard to hear over engine noise.

Is there a good way to tell if it's the source?

I haven’t experienced it personally but a quick search in the forum should help you

If the noise goes away in 4WD then it’s likely the needle bearing
