i scratched my glovebox pretty badly in two places on the way home from the dealership (the ODO had 8 miles on it)...i think i may have set a record. i had my old sub box out of my 4runner on the passenger seat and the corner of the amp rubbed the glovebox...that material scratches worse than a heroin addict.

Hadn't had my truck two weeks and managed to scratch the tailgate loading a freezer in the back. Hadn't even got the plates from the dealer yet. The dolly slid between the freezer and tailgate and me trying to push the freezer in didn't notice. Dopy me.
Fortunately I was picking up a used canopy the next day. When I went into Maaco to have the canopy color match I had them repaint it. Whole Canopy cost me 200 bucks and tiny scratch on tailgate 250. Think they saw me coming and had a nice party on me.

Soo what.. I like centered text..

My Grill craft came with "J" Brackets for the lower grill. I installed them and wasn't happy with the sense of "security" they provided.. So I went to home depot and bought some "L" Brackets for the lower grill. (Same as the upper grill) They seem much more secure and in my opinion hold the grill much easier.

My brother hit mine with a bicycle right after I bought it and put a hug dent/scratch right in front of the rear tire. :facepalm:And a rock hit my windsheild and chipped it. Both happened before I hit 2000 miles... I had my windshield replaced. Still havent got over the dent. might go get a quote from a body shop this spring..

How bad could the drill have messed it up? Is it something that could be buffed out or is it deep?

Defiantly not something that I can buff out... The drill head was rubbing up against the bumper while I was drilling.. It was only for a few seconds before I realized what was happening.. But none the less, It did its damage..

SCRATCH! SCRAAAAAATCH! You scratched my CD! You picked it up in clear Daylight, and you scratched it!

Sorry...just made me think about that scene from The Ringer

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEq2iOH6iU8

Seriously though, sucks about the truck. get some touchup paint from the dealer and you'll be OK...unless it'll buff out. I find a new scratch on mine every time I wash it.

I know exactly how you feel about stupid things you actually do to your "OWN" Taco.

Well, I suggest you really pay attention when you decide to do the BHLM.:D
