    I'm sure it helps a very small amount. I doubt it will do much though. If branches can scratch through clear coat how would a ultra thin temporary coating hold up any better?

    I say add more!

    But seriously try a hand wax to see which scratches it's masks. The ones that bother you do a quick cut buff to hide them.

    I wouldn't go to town with a buffer on these trucks. The paint is so damn thin.

    I felt a little shitty after adding pinstripes to mine. But they don't really pop out at you until you are close to the truck.

    5100 set to max, pending LSD and TRD CAI
    The last time I had something like that repaired it cost me $350 including buffing out tail and headlights. Mine was pretty had some deep scratches but they managed to get all but one deep one out. But they also said next time they wouldnt be able to repair it without replacing the clear coat.

    Note to self stay clear of trails that just reopened.

    Also a few car wash place quoted me $120-160 but I wouldn’t trust those places to do such a job. Mine was done at a high end auto body shop. $350 was the hookup price.
