How did we get from the OPs door handle to you bragging about what a good detailer you are?
You know the compound slinging retard at the body shop you hate so much?
That's the painters minimum wage helper
Congrats, you're one step up from that

You must use the wrong bodyshops. They're paint professionals. They SHOULD understand how to work with paint. Unless you're using some cheap Maaco body shop, then they should know what to do.

Well slick since you know it all, go ahead and fix it for him. I'm not going to argue with someone that is obviously an expert.

maybe if you read I already told him the steps that would take that out quick. This site is just filled with numbnuts lets and right..sure glad I hardly ever visit.
and yes thats the retard they have buff out the cars. sorry to say but go on ANY detail forum that has people who take it seriously and they will ALL laugh at you and tell you a body shop is nothing but a hack shop when comes to proper paint correction and buffing..there are very few out there that actually do it right. and most of them are on detail forums.

if he was local to me..damn right I would fix it for him in a few mins no problem. I enjoy it. But then I guess you just like to be butt hurt cause you dont know your ass from a hole in a ground with proper paint correction.

I read what you wrote. You told him to use a wheel on a part that's one square inch.
You also don't know if it will even buff or it's thru the clear. So you're wasting his time.
You also told him to use a bunch of product
that's going to cost him way more than the handle cover that is already comes painted. And I also read the one where you insulted a paint rep who's probably forgot more about finishes than you know, and then bragged about taking swirls out of black cars, when that's not even what we are talking about here.
So I'm not sure who the real numnuts is

your a moron. Meguiars ultimate compound is like 6bucks and so is ultimate polish. Obviously you still dont know shit because even deep scratches that have gone through can be blended into the paint to make them very hard to see even if they are still there. Once again i have done that plenty of times with paint. the scratch is still there but you have to look at from a certain angle to see it.WTF are you talking about a wheel. Stop trying to sound like you know anything. He spends $12-14bucks on product then he has it for any other small scratches that may happen down the road. its not to hard to use a machine and a 4" buffing pad on that door handle area. I have done it plenty of times already on my truck correcting the paint. Once again its like talking to brick walls on this site if someone acts like they know anything will keep trying to come at the person who gives proper advice and has experience in it. Go back to your corner and play with yourself.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

There's absolutely no need for hostilities and name calling.

    And the irony...
