scratches

Hello, I have a 2019 tacoma, metallic gray. My dogs have scratched my doors up, and I am looking for something to remove them, not the dogs, the scratches!

Welcome and sorry to hear about the scratches. How to deal with them is heavily dependent on how bad they are. If they're light/med scratches and only in the clear coat then you can likely polish them out with a rubbing compound or polish. If they're deeper and actually made it thru the clear coat down into the base coat, primer or down to the metal then you're looking at needing to repaint the area. If there are only some deep areas you might be able to just use touch up paint but if it's widespread you may need to repaint the whole panel and/or even blend in other panels.

 

Welcome to T W. I used to work in auto upholstery shop people would ask all the time what can be done about the scratches on my car or truck I told them Had same problem. I got pure Coconut oil put on wipe off do this 2 times rub down that should do it. Clear coat oxidized can be brought back to shine. Try it you'll like it
