I guess these radio's aren't bulletproof. My brothers went on his hybrid rave4 and was replaced in warranty. I just hope they don't crap out once out of warranty. $$$

It was rhetorical but glad you took the time to comment on something a year ago.

FYI a forum full of enthusiasts that represent the minority of owners is probably not the best place to determine likelihood

I like the full screen display on the rearview mirror on those RAV4s. I find it awkward to view the mirror, but that full view is awsome.

I have a 2020 Tacoma with 19,000 miles and my dash screen scrambled for about 2 hours. Turned the truck off and on and no luck. Just dropped it off at the dealer and they recommended replacing the Combo Meter, lets see what happens.

Modern electronics (IC based) will typically fail early in their life cycle, where old electrical equipment will fail more towards the end of their life cycle. That’s why you are generally safe with skipping the extended warranty.

Hmmm. My 2020 with 14,000 just did this to the info cluster this morning. It was only 15 degrees so I wonder if it is a cold thing? Tried a restart but it is still glitched! Going to wait a bit and try again. Might disconnect the battery also.

Give it 30 minutes or so, even longer if you can, like tomorrow morning, before messing with the battery. Hope it resolves itself for you.

Quick update...Let it sit overnight and it reset itself. Used it yesterday and today with no issue. Guess we will see what happens. Thanks for the info all!
