If you find one let me know.. Anti Glare and something that doesn't show fingerprints would be nice

Will do... Might be a while before they release anything. I've found 7 inch ones for the Tundra but nothing that covera the buttons too.

Any specific reason for a screen protector? I've had several aftermarket head units that are resistant to scratches, so I'm guessing the OEM would be similar. Finger prints are going to show up no matter what you put over it. If you can't find a pre-cut protector, you can make your own. Order an iPad screen protector and cut to the size. There are several different textures, so you'll have to research the differences.

Pretty much for the same reaons you would an Ipad. Just that little extra protection for those what if moments. Also some screen protectors offer anti-glare which is nice. Just piece of mind really. Does it need it... Probably not. But, I'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to my head unit. Just my thoughts.

You need to protect your head unit. Never know what you'll catch. ;)

Haha, yea. You do bring up good points. I've just been on an interior protection kick lately. WO seat covers, G Tek door sill protectors, and floor liners coming.

I am more on the anti glare fingerprint resistance side of things rather than protection. I know on my phones and other devices that the antifingerprint/glare does help a lot.. and I don't want to cut to fit I like the beveled edges that come on the good covers rather than rough edges of cut to fit

Very aware that I'm not going to drop the head unit. I also realize anything that slams into it will break it. I'm looking for scratch protection.

I have a screen protector on my 2013 from Hera-Shield. Found on Amazon.
You guys might check with them and see if they have a product out. I've been very happy with it.

seriously. stop with the worry. take your truck into the bush. take it out for what it is meant for. don't worry about scratching a damn head unit that will not probably even get scratched.

Get an invisible shield for iPad mini. Should accomplish exactly what you are looking for.

He doesn't want finger prints all over screen so you can find a template glass screen protector?

i'm not a fan of all the crud and dust that accumulates at the edges of screen protectors, and most of the time I opt to just use the wheel controls. This is based on my 2013 though, where my screen is already matte and mostly anti-glare. I'm guessing 3rd gens are glossy screens?
