So the other day i place an order for a u-bolt flip kit. Figured i should just go this route instead of buying new longer u-bolts for the money.

    U-bolt flip kit=49 dollars
    Shipping (usps) =22 dollars!

EDIT: Got ahold of All Pro via a Pm and it looks like i will be getting credited back $9.55, which brings the shipping down to something i would expect. Thank you

instead of getting hot and angry about it, why don't you call them and see if they can do anything for you? Why didn't you call to find out how much shipping was before placing an order?

The only thing I've bought from All pro was my bumer and shipping was like $120ish for a 150lb bumper so I thought it was reasonable.

I called multiple times on friday and no one ever picked up. I just think it's kinda of scumball move to dick you on freight after the fact. I ship subwoofer enclosures to california for 40 dollars(pretty large in size), 22 bucks for a u bolt kit is just on the high side, seems to me like they are making money on top of the order with freight costs as well

    A few bolts are different.
I grantee that package is around 15-18lbs. Plus your all the way across the US. A lot of the time it's not a matter of choice for a retailer to ship with whoever... most shipping is contracted, business negotiate rates. USPS is not always the best route to take just because they have flat rate boxes.

    seriously depussified oc to
dis allow the charge by calling your credit card. call all pro and stop the order.

Personally I would never click to ship on anything mechanical or metal always call.

you bet they are . hidden markups are the new way of being competitive in today internet sales. that way they can still price lower but out perform the competition. Of course in CA tax is a huge issue. But still, its easier for them to suck it out of you that way than to streamline and reduce overhead.

I also want to add that shipping deptments can be a huge drain on profitability esp in internet sales where price has become so competetive.

you got to use logic and Math to get the best out of this kind of deal. that and information.

But as far as Im concerned Sarah at all pro is good folks

LOL at Merrit, you bash all pro by saying they're marking up their product (how would they make money if they didn't) and then say they're good people...

The flip kit is made by all pro so it's not like they're getting it from another vender and selling at a price increase. $50 for mod is cheap when it comes to these trucks, would you prefer they just give them away? And in All pro's defense, the OP does live in rural NY so shipping to that area can't be cheap.

Try ordering from Kartek (The off-road truck truck parts place of nirvana) they dont even go over shipping prices over the phone because if you can afford the parts you can afford the shipping.

Dude if $20 shipping irritates you find another hobby.

Shipping costs a lot when your going across the country. I'm getting some suspension parts from them and shipping is over 200 dollars to Alaska. Shipping goes up when you live far away from the vendor. Don't blame AllPro for UPS shipping costs.
