    If someone was a really really really good friend, they could let you use their stock intake for the purpose of the test, then go back to your aftermarket job after you pass. It'll take a lot of work (and your buddy will earn a lot of beer for the assist), but like my old man says, "It's all a matter of whether you have more time or money."

    I had to weigh my shit when I brought into the great state of CA. She weighed a hefty 4100 lbs. Dumb DMV. Also had to smog it but it was still stock and all was good.

    what really sucks is the threshold to the lower wieght class is 4000 I sugest going in on empty take your tailgate off and hope their scales are a little off.
