I installed some new speakers but now the trim screw cover for the passenger grab handle will not stay in place. I cant figure out what is not latching, hooking. It will stay on for a few minutes and just fall off even when parked. I will grab some velcro to keep it in place if needed but would like to find the proper fix.

    Any ideas??

That happened to mine too, if I recall correctly there was a little plastic tab that was bent, I straightened it out a little and it was good to go

Did you bend or break any retaining clips? Maybe a small tab that you may not notice because of it's size?

Thanks! I had only noticed one retaining clip. But there is another small one next to the piece of plastic that keeps the cover connected to the trim that was bent. Bent it back into shape and all is well!!
