    Hello TW,

DO NOT BUY A SUBSCRIPTION BOX FROM YOTA CRATE!!!

Back in January I signed up to be an Ambassador for the subscription box Yota Crate which I found on Instagram. I figured it would be fun to receive the monthly package as well as help their business out and get a few Instagram followers along the way. The way an Ambassador works is you still pay for a crate, but at a discount and you are required to do reviews as well as help sell the crates. For the first 3 months I never received a package and was in contact with their representative Josh who was in total communication and was trying to help me out. After still no boxes showing up, I finally decided to stop my subscription and demand my money back. I was told by Josh that he cannot do refunds and would send me the crates he owes me. Another 2 months have passed and now he is completely ignoring my messages and now I'm out $150!

Has anyone purchased or had any experience with this company? Their website is very basic and has no contact info on it. I assume now that this is a scam, but they are very active on Instagram so I hope nobody else gets in the same situation I'm in.

Any info is greatly appreciated and again DO NOT USE YOTA CRATE SUBSCRIPTION BOXES!!!

Didn't know what it was until just now! So, I hit up the site and I'm not sure how these subscription box companies pull people in. You can't get anything worth a damn for $49.99 a month per their "we want to bring the best products the industry has to offer directly to your doorstep each month."

The "About Us" and overall lack of info does seem sketchy!
    "A little about us....
Yota Crate was established with one goal in mind, we want to bring the best products the industry has to offer directly to your doorstep each month. our team is built entirely of offroad enthusiast so we know exactly what you guys need!"

Guessing you didn't pay with a Credit Card or Paypal? Make a claim if you did!

Yep, make a claim. All these stupid monthly subscription boxes full of junk are stupid. Sorry you picked one of the scam ones.

PT Barnum boxes might be a better name.

Hope you can get your funds back.

I have no doubt you'll avoid things like this in the future, but likely you'll be inundated with offers when they hustle your data.

(This smells like a digital version of old time 8 track tape and paperback 'clubs')

I didn’t know what yota crate was so I checked their website. I mean no offense OP but after checking it out it was damn obvious to me that it was either a total ripoff or a scam or both. Hopefully you learned a valuable lesson and will be more aware of scams and ripoffs.

If you used a credit card file a claim with your credit card company. Tell them that you never received the products that you paid for.

In theory at least, the OP could file a wire fraud complaint. The Postal Service might be in charge of that, but I'm not sure. It helps to have a physical address and name.
