LOL yeah, wtf...I just got my blemished Ray 10's and I can't find a single issue.

Is it because the inside hole for the lugs is slightly less sprayed? What a damn good deal if so. Can't even see the hole once the lugs are in place.

    Thanks Vin!!

Anyone ever had an issue with flaking on the paint? I have had the wheels for roughly a year and a half and it’s only on one of the wheels.

Not as much as yours, but supposedly if it gets hit on trails, it can cause the flaking:

I can understand the black ring being scuffed up by trails but how is trail damage suppose to get on the inside lip?

Keep in mind SCS wheels are just painted. If you want ultimate durability the answer is to powder coat them, but that’s additional cost. If you bought them new I would see if Vin will do anything for you.

I bought a blemished set so the finish warranty is not valid. I might go cerakote because I have the stuff to do it myself

    Was this a "blemished" wheel?

Yes it was “blemished” but as you have heard from others I couldn’t find anything wrong with it.

Rocks/pebbles/water/debris tend to stay in the deep dish. It has caused some of the chips leading to the peeling on my br6.

I was told that if branches or rocks hit the clear coat, it'll chip. But as you can see, I have no "hit" marks on the peeled spots...

Btw, this one's not even a blemished wheel.

I guess I now have a reason to change wheel colors?

Yeah I haven’t had anything scrub my wheels, and that’s what I was thinking, maybe cerakoting them. You ever heard of anyone having this problem with methods or any other known brand?
