Dang, sold out. How do these interfaces not give time for entry? Sheesh!

I guess it’ll save me from spending $85. Maybe I’ll have work print some out.

    Sorry about that!
I'll update when the next batch will be available.
Currently in process of making a badge that can be installed in the center for those that prefer a premade option.

It’s not a big deal at all. I kind of want to see how well these stay in and whether they mar the wheels when pushing them in/out. Double sided tape is not ideal imo but I suppose there’s no other option.

For the love of all that is holy, though, please do not adopt the “drop” model. Lol.

Unfortunately, the wheels have no lip/recess incorporated in the the bore to allow a standard center cap design. The next best option is to use an adhesion method unless someone was adamant and want to their wheels.

Sorry, I'm unsure what you mean by "drop" model?

This is when a vendor fabricates an artificial sense that their product is exclusive by purposefully limiting volumes, then releasing small quantities on a predetermined timeline. As a (drop) date nears cryptic hints and advertisements are released as hype is built in order to sell out as quickly as possible, which creates a sense of urgency in the consumer base.

Take SCS wheels as an example. There is literally nothing measurably special or exclusive about them but people treat them as a "grail" where there is some sort of feat to overcome in getting a set. It is nutty.

OK, I know exactly what you mean. That will not be my intentions and this first batch was for logistical reasons.

I agree :notsure:. I have no idea why people buy SCS wheels.

I still can’t believe I missed your first drop of these! Since they sold out so quickly will you be making another batch anytime soon?

You are literally the vendor, making a goofy comment to be self deprecating. I wrote it shows with a wink, suggesting that there is no way I could possibly guess what you mean. :) :) :)

May I remind you, however, that just because I dislike how the wheels are released and generally find nothing uniquely special about them because of it, I still have a set on my truck.

It's in the works! I will be switching over to ABS as that will allow possibilities of difference texture/finish. With that said, the initially start-up will take a little bit of time, but rest assured, plenty more caps will be released!

I'm coming up with a design for a badge to attach to these as well ;)

Very nice, simple center caps. Perfect. This is the style I want for my Volk te37's. Rays center caps are hideously ugly. I'd rather go capless, which I do.

Might you be making caps for other wheels? Or anyone know anyone making a set similar to these that fit TE37xt's?

    Mahalos!

That's tempting to do since I know some of my buddies have TEs but don't want to pay the extra couple hundred for the caps. Shoot, Advans don't even offer any for their RGD2s
I just might look into it

Thoughts on these metal badges for the center caps?
