You'll need to do a CMC with 285s. The chop just won't need to be as aggressive using 4.5" bs vs. 3.5" bs.

Looking at running 17x9 3.5bs gunmetal gray on a white second gen but not sure how the gunmetal will look on white. Anybody have some pictures of a similar setup?

Not a 2nd Gen, obviously, but I'm always looking for a good excuse to post up my gunmetal F5s!

    Super White, FTW!

Nice! How you like the duratracs so far? Thinking those might be my first runner up if I swap out my stocks. There's been enough pics to sway me to them.

Sweet truck man! Gunmetal looks alot better on the white than I thought it would. I'm definitely going to go with them when I put my 6" on.

I wanted a load C rated tire in the 265/75 R16 and in that size the choices are limited. The combination of F5 and this Duratrac (19 + 45 = 64 lbs) is fairly close to the stock weight (24 + 35 = 59 lbs). To date, I've put about 300 miles on them so far, 98% on paved roads, and noticed about a 1 MPG decrease. Road handling is good, with a slight increase in tire noise...So far I like them a lot.

Ordered a set today in matte jet black! Stoked! :woot:

Got 16x8 4.5 BS. Now I guess gotta start looking into suspension and tire upgrades.

So I'm looking at getting a set of F5's. I'm wondering what the difference is with the lugs. A few pages back people recommended different lugs, but what's the difference with extended and regular size? Do I need to upgrade to the ET's or am I ok with the regular ones?

Edit: Looked back a little further and saw extended threads are recommended, but not necessary
