    I'm also fortunate to live in the SF Bay Area, and so I also just picked mine up from Vin this afternoon. Super nice guy, and was more than happy to answer my questions about lugs, tires, etc.. I couldn't be happier with the whole process! I went with five F5's in 4.5 BS, 16x8, matte gunmetal (which I think looks best on super white tacos). Cheers SCS!

    @SCSPerformance Any chance I can get a status on my order from Tuesday? I can't wait for them to come in and I'm hoping to get them mounted before I hit the trails on Friday coming up.

    They look so good!

    1500 miles on mine and it looks like only 5 miles. Wearing like iron. Still super quiet. Still loving them.

    Got my F5 wheels mounted Saturday! I noticed yesterday that Discount Tire managed to beat up a few of the wheels near some of the lug nut holes. It is small, but noticeable

    I did not notice when I was there and it has been a few days. Do any of you think I have a chance at getting anything out of it?

    Edit: Just got off the phone and they said they will make it right. Still sort of bummed I even have to deal with it

    Well, it's cool they are gonna work it out with you but yea, I would be upset nonetheless. That was the one thing that had me the most scared. Taking my tires and wheels to a wheel shop for them to do the install. But they really came through for me. Even mounted up my OEMs and threw in a Gorilla lug nut wrench. So for the $160ish I paid, definitely worth it. That includes removing the TPMS and putting them in the new wheels too. I would have paid double that to ensure my Ray 10s came out unscathed. Especially since they are the limited edition Coppers.

    Glad to hear they are gonna make good though.

    Same thing happened to me years ago when I first got my F5's. Discount ended up paying for one wheel and going half on another for me. If you're going to wheel with the F5's like I did/do, then it works in your favor. Within a few months I had already scratched them up on a trail run.

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    I hear ya! I was at this restaurant the other day and cut a turn too close and hit a curb and thought for sure I was going to scratch up my ring!!!!!! I was relieved when it was just the tire. LOL, I'm definitely a poser, doesn't really apply here......sorry. hehehehehehe

    Yea I guess if you wheel, you have to be able to deal. Damn, I just made that up. For me though, I am all about the show. I'm leaving the hard core stuff to you guys......mad props to you all that sink so much money and then go Fn crazy out there :thumbsup: I must say, if your gonna hit the trails, you might as well do it in style with SCS under ya!

    I am not planning on doing any crawling or serious wheeling, but if there are going to be scratches on the wheels I would like them to be by my hand/driving

    I will report back as to what the verdict is
