Yeah I'd call out the tire shop on that. I've had more than 1 set of new wheels damaged by tire shops and it usually benefits in my favor greatly

This is exactly what happened when i got my f5s mounted. The scratched the hub of the rim when they where balancing them. The worst part was that could see that it was messed up but tried to pass off my truck to me like i wouldn't notice....WRONG...they agreed to pay for part of a new rim and let me keep the scratch one for a spare. Still pissed but nothing I can do.

Yeah I went by there today, they will cover the paint job if I do a touch up and my next set of tires is at "cost". I think ill get the tires and take them to another shop, lol.

Man thats sucks, I had no clue they got them on and we all walked around the truck and they looked fine, then the next day the paint had flaked off.

this has been mentioned on the forum for a touch up on our wheels. I would just spray it in a plastic cup and touch up your wheel with a model brush.

    Nothing worthy

And if these were an easy purchase this wouldn't be such a problem...
When I was getting my 5's mounted I said to the owner, these took months to get, were very expensive, and I will inspect for any damage when your done.
I heard him go into the shop and he yells "ok ladies, fuck up these rims and your fired" HAHA he comes back into the front and asks if that's what I want to hear.. lol

This why I was happy to pay for a set of 5 when I bought my Ray 10's. If I ever get to a place where I am done with major mods I am going to buy more until I eventually have another complete set.

Mine also happened just like that. Lmk what there response is. I don’t care about it but New Jersey we get tons of salt down during the and I don’t want it to corrode.

I don’t really care, just afraid that spot could corrode faster from salt. FYI NJ puts down a unreal amount. Can the matte be waxed?

Truck looks great with your new f5s. Try to find some touch up paint for your color. A few posts back I mentioned some paint for gun metal. Rustoleum may have something close for bronze.

I picked up some auto touch up paint at an auto parts place yesterday. I noticed a couple chips I suppose from everyday use. Shit happens.

Ah bummer, It boiled down to refunding my 85$ for the mounting and said my next set of stock sized tires are at cost. I took them to a body shop but they also just said give Rust-Oleum a shot like @Kick brought up
