    That settles it, 285!

I appreciate when members go all out, but I don’t have the skills or monies to justify it quite yet.

Great looking rig and I bet it’s a bad bitch on the trails! :taco:

Anyone know if I can run 17x9 with 3.5 bs (-38 offset) on a 3" lift with no major issues? I am going with 285/70r/17 for my tires?

I currently run 18x9 0 offset with 295/65r/18 and only rub on sharp turns if I can going to fast.

Ohhhh  whats the spec of your wheels? I just bought 255/85/16, wondering what’s the deepest wheel I can get that will fit the tires.

    The F5s are 16x8 3.5BS/-25 offset. I went from 16x8 4.5BS/0 offset on 255/85/16 to the F5s.

    Gold wheels are 0 offset

Gunmetal F5s (with bronze spare) are -25 offset

Really diggin how the spare looks!
Did you have to chop anything with the 255/85/16. 3.5bs/-25 offset?

    I did not have 255/85/16 and 3.5bs.

with the 255/85s the wheels I had were 4.5bs. Sorry if that was confusing. I did not have to cut, but I did the CMC anyways.

Ahhh I see, yeah I got a little confused there. So now im wondering if they’ll fit with the 3.5bs. Wouldn’t mind the CMC, but if I can stick them in there without it I’d save my self the trouble.

I am going to redo my CMC soon. I would see if a 3rd gen has the 3.5bs. You might need to trim. Ive had 255s for a long time. Let me see if I have an old picture to show the trim from before..

Also, I have alot less bumper, and I cut 2" from my fender to fit the 35s.

    Correct,
265/70/17 TOYO OC ATII's not very aggressive tread either.
I did a pretty aggressive CMC recently and it still touches (slightly) when flexed with a turn.

I have 255/85/16, not sure how different the tires are relative to yours even though they’re slimmer. Really curious if they’ll rub.

Im pretty sure they wont. Make sure you try to get as close as 3* of caster as you can, to move the tire away from rubbing.

Kinda related, but not really.. 315/75 vs 255/85

I'm sure the added height of the 85 will make up for the lesser width of the 255 and rub.. Do it! then worry about fitment after.. lol

    Bold choice!
Would love to get em' in a "chrome bronze" finish. Been meaning to change out my stock black SCS with that but maybe the whole spoke is the answer!
