Mounted up 255/85/16's on 3.5" BS. The stance is excellent:

Sorry for the 4Runner question.. But I found ZERO pictures of second gen runners on the f5 wheels. They fit right? Also when will you be restocked with matte dark bronze 16" 3.5" BS wheels? Thanks for the help people!

Finally mounted on my sons truck. Gunmetal on silver stock 4x4 RC. Michelin Defender LTX M/S 265/70 16 with no rubbing. The installer came outside when I picked the truck up to tell me how much he liked them. Woke up this morning and my son was already awake, outside staring at them.

    Thanks Vin!

I have the 16" F5's.. love them! i have 3.5" BS and im just wondering if anyone has stuffed 285's or similar tires on a second gen taco without rub (to the cab mount) and im also wondering has anyone put bigger tires on with MINIMAL cab chop. how much cab mount chop was required? ive been told i need to do the cab chop for even 285's but with like 3 inchs of lift and 3.5 BS i didnt think it was needed. even if i go to the same size as 285's (33's) without going as thick, would that work?

With 285's you'll have to cab mount chop if you take your sway bar off, you might be able to get away without doing so if you keep it on but I doubt it.
With 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 (both are 33" tires) you'll have less rubbing since it's a skinnier tire but not promising you'll get away without having to cab mount chop or trim flares. You'll have to trim a lot more if you take the sway bar off no matter what tire.

Get an alignment and some castor, that'll fix it. What UCA's are you running?

@northwesttaco SPC LR UCA. That's a good idea though... Do you run the same?

Cut my tire today on the lower fender. Took the fender flares off and am planning to trim 3"... Guess you can never start planning for 35's too early.

Uhhh definitely get more caster first before you cut.. Your tires will look very small if you cut 3" out (which may not be a bad thing if you want 35's next week :D) Im running 285's on 4.5" bs, soon to change up the wheels.

Does this look about right for where the tires will be sitting with a 4.5" backspace / 0 offset in the first pic?

Stock OR rims w/ 265 75R16 on the left, same tire but F5's on the right, next pic below is where the stock vs Ray10 backspacing should be.

    Screen Shot 2016-04-07 at 4.23.06 PM.jpg

    Screen Shot 2016-04-07 at 4.26.45 PM.jpg

Trying to decide if the 4" backspacing of Ray10's is going to push the tire too far out for my liking or not.

Well it is going to be .5 inch farther out than mine, which is the same spec as your F5 setup.

Awesome!!!! Thanks for the great pics.....That was exactly what I needed to know.

I really like the stance on your truck and I don't think I want much more tire sticking out than that.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out the same thing and came across that online calculator too. This is as far as I would go, and I have some aftermarket mudguards I'll be installing after I get my lift on.
