What is the color of the F5's? (Hard to tell in this pic) Are they bronze or gun metal?

Justin, looks good man! I have the exact same truck and I am about to pull the trigger on the F-5s, and was wanting to know how the gunmetal looked on Pyrite Mica. Answer: AWESOME! What back spacing did you go with, 3.5 or 4.5? I am running 1.25" Spidertrax with my stock rims now and love the stance. I am going to bump up to a 285/75 when I order these and want them to have the stance I have now but want to get rid of my Spidertrax. My tires stick out about an 1" from my fender flare. I am running 265/75 now. I am thinking if I go to a 285/75 and the F-5s I would probably wanna go with a 4.5 bs. Any input? Anyone else have any input? Thanks

Pyrite mica is a color that looks different when sun hits it - and the gunmetal F-5's sometimes look like the same color as the truck. I have 3.5 BS and I was running a 1 inch wheel spacer. These stick out about the same amount as my spacers did with the stock wheels.
I stayed away from 285s because I just have a 2" lift and didn't want to do a cab mount chop with all the other trimming. I say get either the 3.5 or 4 BS - these wheels look amazing either way!

Is anyone running 285/75 with the 3.5 bs and no spacers? And if so will you post a straight on view from the front if the truck inline with the fender flare to see how far the tire is passed the flare, and also one from the back of the truck? Thanks

285/75/16 will hit the frame. you need 4.75 back spacing to clear. im in the same boat as you. but i dont want to run spacers. and they dont have 4.75 back spacing:(

Very nice. Looks like it was lifted. Any rubbing? This is the 4.5 BS, matte finish? I wanted the 17" Stealth wheels but these are growing on me.

You can use the F5 with manual hubs, but the Stealth 6 has a ~2mm lip(for the center cap) that gets in the way. That lip would need to be milled out for the hub to slide through.

Gloss black, 4.5 bs. The shop that put them on said they rubbed a bit, but did some minor trimming to the inner fender liner to clear.

The 4.5" bs keeps them inside the fender for the most part.[IMG]

Do the f5s require new lug nuts(coming from steel wheels)? I have never had good luck with aftermarket lug nuts esp the ones with the funky locking attachments. Great wheels btw! Looking for a set for my barce red 10' AC w/2.7

Cory, if the steel wheels uses conical bulge seat lugs then you're good to go. The acorn bulge lugs tend to seat better than a regular acorn conical lugs. We prefer spline lugs, but acorn lugs will work just as well. PM me if you have any specific questions.

Looks great Jerry! Your 265s on our F5 3.5" bs looks beefy and to me it looks like you're running 285s:cool:. That's a nice aggressive stance.

Kind of partial to it myself! :D

Was unsure at first if I really wanted to give up the 285 size, with these tires and the 3.5" bs, I am so glad I did.

Less expensive tire size, and less weight between the smaller size and going to a 6 'ply' tire.

Vin was great to work with, answered all my questions and provided great advice. Very pleased with the outcome. F5's in black matte.
