    Hello everyone,

I looked to see if there was a thread already for this and couldn’t find it. Does anyone know what tires I’d be able to get for my 2018 Tacoma TRD 4x4 if I get the (SCS F5 16x8 -25offset) without having to lift or modify the Tacoma? Or would I rub with any tire on that kind of offset?

in the future I plan on lifting it, but it is out of my budget at this time.

would you guys recommend just keeping the stock wheels until I have the money for lift it too?

    thank you everyone.

Keep the stock tires until you have money for the lift. Because it'll take you maybe a couple years to run through the new tires. You don't want to lift the truck and then be stuck with the smaller tires until you can save up the cash to buy bigger tires again.

It's better to just do it right the first time.

Yeah, I guess I’ll have to wait until I have the money to do it all at the same time.
In the mean time I might just keep the stock tires and some Ridge Grapplers 265/70 17. So at least I’ll get a bit better grip when I go out to some easy trails.

    Thanks for your reply!

I had a 3” lift with tame 265/75 Dynapro ATMs and still rubbed like a middle schooler at cheerleader practice. That offset looks great, but I definitely think trimming/cutting will be in order

Sure did. Mostly plastic, cab mount when I was raging into my apartment parking lot.

I’ve been looking at the thread mentioned at the beginning and it seems that the best way to go to have no run wild be the 16x8 with 0 offset. One guy there said he has those wheels with 265/75 with no lift and no rubbing (just mudflaps off)
    Maaaaaaybe I’ll go that route.
there was another guy that had 16x8 with -25 offset, with 265/75 and a 3” lift and still rubbed.
I really like the -25 offset look over the 0 offset look. But it seems I’d have more issues with it
