Hunt craigslist, I found a set of F5’s on Craigslist. They pop up from time to time.

Thanks, Brother. I priced them to hopefully help someone get into a nice set of wheels. If I go back to a Taco I’m getting another set just like them, but I’m only selling them because I’m not sure and, even so, they shouldn’t just sit in my garage. These are my favorite wheels and it took me forever to get them (they were always sold out) and I’m about to the point where I might just keep them, maybe make some wall art...:). I still have to get my new Falkens up for sale too but dang I’ve been busy.

No problem. It was a toss up between these and the SR8’s for me. I ended up getting 5 of them, and still contemplating getting another 3 for when I get my off-road trailer set up. That way I will have matching spares for everything. Lol.

Is your user name based on the character from the beach bum? Was he a real person? Just watched that this past weekend and loved it.

I get asked that a lot, but no. While it may seem weird, only two people know why that’s been my nickname since I was a teen in the 80s. :). The Avatar is from Moondog the musician from NYC.

So, you would bring these wheels from Alabama to Dallas? What are you charging?

If Dallas is on my way back from Moab(Google Moab to Auburn, Al),, yes, I can bring them. Just give me a little for gas having to go pick them up.

I’m confused. The wheels are in Alabama. Are you saying you are gonna drive them from Alabama to Moab and back? That isn’t gonna workfor me.

“From Moab” seemed to indicate return leg. It’s the reason I asked for clarification.

On my way out, I'm going to Denver to meet my old roommate and won't go through TX. On my way back, I'll come from Moab straight back to Auburn. I'll go through TX then

I live on your way out if you are heading down 85. I’m about 40-45 minutes away from Auburn.

If you are in Dallas, ShipNex shows about $17 a wheel to ship or less than $30 for 2 larger boxes per box. That might vary by your specific zip code. And there are many others on here that are far better with the shipping game than me so I welcome any pointers.
