Boy do I like these wheels from SCS. But I'm a little confused on the Matte Dark Bronze. Is it more a bronze, gold, or copper? Their website has a nice deep bronze color as seen below. I like the bronze, but not so much the gold side of the spectrum. Thanks.:bananadance:

Most likely the darker color. I think the gold color was a very special limited edition IIRC

Top is the matte dark bronze, bottom is "copper" it was/is a limited edition finish. They don't offer it often.

Top is matte dark bronze. Bottom is my personal set in brushed gold(yellow tint) which has not been released yet.

This is brushed copper(red tint) below,

They're all very unique shade that's very hard to capture. These 3 finish all look even better in person and can flip flop shades depending on the lighting and angle.

Do you drive that matte black Tacoma with brushed gold ray10s on your website? If so I'm in love with it! Could you please tell me what long travel kit your using and what bumper that is and the size of the tires? And what frame sliders your using? Greatly appreciated thanks.

Yes, that's my DD. I have a Camburg LT kit up front and a DMZ SUA kit in the rear. The bumper was something I designed and had a local fabricator add his own touch to it as well. Tires are MTR 315/70/17 and the sliders are from our TW vendor BAMF custom setup that I requested.

I emailed SCS a few days ago and they said they will be getting more wheels in by the end of next month (April '17)

I'm loving the matte dark bronze, just not too sure how they would look on my magnetic gray, I haven't seen anyone with those wheels on the gray taco yet

The brushed copper is very goldish, the matte bronze is much darker.

I have the brushed copper on mine.

That looks sweet on the black taco, hopefully the magnetic gray has the same appeal.

Is that a true beadlock? I think SCS offers both functional and visual only beadlocks on the Ray 10's

No they arent functional beadlocks. You can have them modified to be true beadlocks. Just talk to Vin about that

I know these are SR8, but it'll give you an idea of color scheme.

They are defiantly darker. They have some shine with direct sunlight and with some dust and first it's hard to tell. If you do not want the super bright the Matte bronze is a killler color. I was torn on brushed copper and Matte bronze. Only difference in a lot of wheel is I had Vin swap for black rivits on the lip of the rim. Just cleaned the truck after a desert trip so comparison of clean and desert layer.

What a nice color combo. MGM, Dark Bronze, and anodized blue.

Might just have to mimic a look like that myself.

dooo it! Been super happy with it so far. Just need to black out the rest of the silver and eventually get the armor. BAMF sliders are on order. Bumpers may take a bit to get cost wise. :drunk:
