Finally made it back to Discount to get my matching spare together with my "blemished" scs. Wasnt really belmished (super tiny pin-prick spot) until they added a small scrape in the paint today.. Ugh. But tried to see if they could iron out the one tire in question of being out of round. Told them to see if this new one was any better, and to mount it if so, and slap the other one on the blemished for the spare. They decided to rebalance them all. Then turned out that the new one ended up being worse than the others! But they were able to flop and reduce the weights on the current wheel, which seemed to help a lot. 6 ounces instead of 11. New one has 9.. They really arent too terrible.. Just, depressing. Since I was always fighting with my old lug centric wheels and spacers, with constant vibes. And expected to not run into issues like that again. But its all good and can certainly live with em now. They balanced em out so well this time that I had a hard time noticing anything but a tiny residual vibe left.. Added bonus, they didnt charge me anything for all that today! Even patched one for me that had a screw in it! Probly figured I learned my lesson in hopes that I'll buy from them directly next time..Heh.

Gonna stick with em tho because the cost, performance, treadwear, AND looks, all outweighs that slight shortcoming. I mean, I kinda expected them to be a little questionable in quality due to price. I had even purchased a diy tire plug kit since I couldnt get these with certificates, which ive always gone with in the past. But I have used plugs without issue before too.

Anyways... Figured I'd share, in case anyone was curious on these tires... Now to order my Avid bed rack/basket setup!

No doubt that is Vin's ride in the photo on CL. I get the impression though that its a pulled pic from somewhere...could be off of good ol' TW. I would be surprised if Vin was selling his stuff.

Just got my call from freeman. Ray 10's will be shipped out today! So much easier than doing the online method.

Will post some pics once they are mounted up.

OME Nitrochargers w/886s & Dakars, ARB Deluxe Bull Bar w/Warn winch, RCI sliders with kick out, IFS & Mid skids, BFF Hi-clearance rear bumper, Brushed Copper 17" SCS Ray10s w/285-70 KO2s, Black OEM 16" steelies w/255-85 KM2s, Leer contractor cap w/Smittybilt overlander xl RTT, Off-Grid Engineering dual battery kit and bed power panel, Blue sea aux fuse block, Wyntner 60L fridge freezer, ARB dual compressor, Pioneer 720BT head unit, CB radio, @Matt_Gecko bed and engine bay lights, @TacomaTruckParts Dirt bike tie down bar, color matched OEM grill, A-Pillar phone mount mod, @Docloco rear seat molle panel
Let me know if they include lug nuts, I heard they do.

I figured I'd check again as the Brushed Copper Ray 10s were out of stock last time I checked Freeman but they're seemingly back in stock so I pulled the trigger on 4x Brushed Copper Ray 10s. I wanted to get five since I'll be getting my BFF HC Rear w/swingout soon so it would be nice to have a matching spare. But with that said, then I'd need to buy a 5th tire and I'd be worried about it getting stolen so I just went with the 4. Pretty pumped but I was going so well staying within my budget and this will stretch it a bit after I get new tires (since I have 16"s now).

I think speedway blue with the gold would be phenomenal, but I’d have to have the $$ to buy when they come out... hard for me to budget when I don’t have a goal date

I always think about that color combo cause I wanted speedway ever since I saw it come out on the 05s. I have the Barcelona/gold color combo, but it would really fit well with the speed.
