I have a MGM truck so I wanted color matched. Sometimes it looks spot on... others not so much. I like it though. I thought gold or bronze but I hate flashy stuff

Normally I’m like that, but when I added my bro badges and shit...couldn’t go back to being all matchy matchy anymore. My original intention was to replace my grey fakelocks with the scs rays before the “G” in me took over.

Ye I know how that is. Glad you got the deal on a set that made sense to throw on. If it was a weird wonky color that could have been a bummer to walk away from.

Right?! I wasn’t sure how they would have looked on my truck so a color match made senses I like the gold on red though. Sexy

Appreciate it man, tbh I was nervous getting them thinking gold would be too loud for my tastes as I was shooting for copper, but copper blends in more to red to where I’m happy I got the golds now. Top of that the golds are the rare community partially cause it takes the right owner or color combo to rock them to begin with. A few of my friends got rays, but none never have the gold.

I need to find the guy, but there is a cement on here with them. They look good...I would roll that route as the cement in a way sort of compliments the gold while still being different.

Right! Matte gray looks weird on cement, black blends in with the tire, gunmetal is okay, seen brushed copper and liked it on cement, but gold. I just don't want to be that guy ya know, but also at the same time that guy.

Also considering saving up for TE37s in that mag or colt blue.

I was the same way, but the thing about copper and gold is the sun makes a new color throughout the day. It’s really cool to see what color shade they become. That is my fav aspect, with cement it looks cleaner than mine but I quickly grew to love mine. When I threw my dirties on and got the call to pick up the truck I was totally expecting my wheels to make my ride look “hood.” Complete opposite.

I like being unique, especially in Tacoma land here in AZ, so I think it would do the trick for sure. Just gotta give it some more thought, I had my guy ppf the rocker panels knowing id likely go with AT's and new wheels since my 17 was peppered. I do love moving colors like you mentioned, reason I love cement, changes shades all day.

Yea man if the cement changes color then you def need copper or gold to keep that effect going. Haha no way man didn’t realize you are in az too...yea it’s hard not to see a taco here. My fav aspect about az is it seems there are more raptors than standard f150s although I’m sure it’s the other way around in actuality.

I had a red TEQ decal on for a while. When I switched from brushed copper rays to my golds I found this gold TEQ decal on eBay. I figured it complimented the wheels perfectly.....
