Meh, I would think again lol. They're good tires, they look great, but I haven't been a huge fan of them. They have a nice footprint but the carcass is super stiff. Even when aired down they don't flex all that well. Meaning they don't conform around rocks. They haven't been my favorite. I'm probably going back to Mickey Thompson MTZ's when these wear down.

Well that's disappointing. I love the way those tires look and I know the stickies are good. I was hoping the radials were good too. Oh well, I guess that rules that tire out.

Hendy what lift do you have? Do those 285's rub? I put a 2.5" leveling kit on mine and I'm wondering if they're gonna rub or if I need to drop down to a 275.

Is the black SR8 not available in a 17? Only shows bronze and gunmetal in 17 option.

Does anyone have a pic of bronze version on white Tacoma? Or bronze on anything white? I think it would look sick!

Recently purchased SR8 16x8 and love the look but having some rubbing issues. Mounted these on 2014 prerunner with cooper AT 265/75r16. Anyone else run into issues w/o a leveling kit or lift? I imagine this is due to the width of the wheel and not the tire self? Would a leveling kit fix this or should I just remove the mud flaps?

The backspacing is probably smaller than what you had on there to begin with. Meaning it pushed the tire out more. This has the same effect as adding spacers. It changes your turning radius and may cause a little rubbing.

THIS^^^ You need a cab mount chop or get an alignment and have them push your caster out to 3.0...

Matte black is currently all sold out at this time.

Here's a white 5th gen 4Runner with matte dark bronze.

You'll need to remove your mud flaps and possible trim some liner to clear 265/75/16 at stock height.
