After back and forth between Ray 10's & F5's, finally decided to leave the stock gang and just pulled the trigger on some SCS Stealth 6 17's!! Now to decide what tire to go with?

Sounds familiar. Had the Ray 10's, really liked the F5's and was kind of meh on the Stealth 6's. Then one day the Stealth 6's just struck me, and then every day after that I knew I had to have them.

@tacomarin Funny that you replied. It was your truck that made me decide and go with 17's. Beautiful truck! I'm slowly getting there. I wanted to pay truck off first(end of this yr sometime) but recently on an off road adventure I had to bust the spare out for the first time. I punctured my tire with a really sharp rock. I was told I needed new tires and alignment soon anyway as I'm still running on Stocks from 2016. So now was a better excuse for the lady than ever!

Haha glad it could be your inspiration! Thanks for the compliments. For me the 17's were appealing for big brake kits (though there are some 16" compatible ones) and also because I really like the 285/75r17 tire size. I'm impressed you ran the stocks for so long though. I think I ran mine for about 500 miles before I dumped them :D

I've know from day 1 my wheels would be from @SCSPerformance fell in Love at first site with the F5, just so hard to get my hands on the size I wanted. So then 10's were looking nice, but not too crazy on the beadlock look. Stealth 6 always had the 2 options I've been looking at, but wasn't too crazy on the split star. But after looking here and Instagram over and over the law of attraction has settled in. I grew to really love them and want these wheels. Oh, Lol, trust me I wanted to ditch them stock tires ASAP, but figured, eh I already paid for them. They've just never felt beefy enough, don't have that appeal that I feel our Tacoma deserves. :mudding:

I would be in for a new set of the machined lip ones myself! I have that Matt black ones now but the New England winters kind of did a number on them.

WOW!:santa: I was not expecting these so quickly! As soon as I opened the box it was love at first site. None of the online pictures do these wheels full justice. Now to patiently wait till Wednesday to have some 265/70r17 Goodyear Duratracs mounted.:pccoffee:

Also any need to paint drums and parts of the rotors where they bolt up?

Just got upgraded! WOW! I'm in Love Again!!

Took me a minute to decide on some tires after the first tire shop I was going to get some Duratrac's failed me. They miss counted inventory. Got hooked up with a sweet deal on some BFG Ko2's instead. Since I was having other work done as well shop owner didn't feel right about his mistake.

So here's Sulley! Feeling like I did as a kid when Mom came home with a surprise pair of sneakers!

    6's 17x8.5 -10. Ko2 265/70r17 C rated
