Yeah I know, why would anyone do that to such a great looking rim. I am about due for tires and am thinking of maybe going Michelin m/s2 or possibly at/2 which is more highway tire looking then AT. Part of me is being logical knowing I never leave the paved road and the other part says get another AT tire that looks better.

Anyone have pics of the stealth 6 with less aggressive looking tires?

I ran Michelin Premier LTX tires. They are a high performance SUV all season and are more than capable for anything you wanna throw at them. They handle off-road just fine, snow and ice they are actually better than off-road tires for, and they're a hell of a lot quieter and get better MPGs on the highway. They are great tires overall and I'd highly recommend them, truck handles significantly better with those tires as well.

That’s what I’m currently running and looking to replace. Great tires the first couple years and then the wet traction completely went away. Tread is still decent but they no longer grip when it rains.

Leaning towards the logical choice of Michelin at2 or defender. I had the old Ltx m/s on my 05 Tacoma and they lasted forever and rode smooth.

Well I turned in my man card, ordered the Defenders and now need to get them installed. Now instead of other Tacoma drivers waving they will point and laugh at me.

But I will be the one who gets the last laugh as my MPG go way up from 18 to 19!!! THATS RIGHT BITCHES!

And the final results. I’m sure someone down the road will want to see the Michelin Defender LTX tires on some SCS wheels. 7C014367-5C75-40F4-B1D8-77500A90439F.jpg8FE7746A-7C34-4739-ADD2-EE042E027A49.jpg8702757D-E1B3-4A9F-A9B4-58C9B1B154D4.jpg

Thanks, I agree they look good but what's more important is how quiet they are. Its now so easy to hear the radio without turning it way up and road noise is virtually gone. Still have the standard wind noise but its now a smooth quiet ride inside. Plus they should last me like 5 years.

Thanks for the pics - I've been contemplating these exact same tires for the exact same reasons. I guess the older you get your priorities start to swing...LOL.
    I agree, they look good.
