Thinking about pulling the trigger on some SCS Ray 10s but indecisive between the 17x8.5 or 17x9. I really want to see how aggressive the offset would be between the two.

Any pictures would be appreciated, not really worried about rubbing as I’m trimmed pretty good.

-38 offset is hell. The wheels look awesome, but you will be cutting and hammering until the cows come home. There just is not enough space for them.

-10 is where it is at.

Real question is how many rocks do you want coming up the side of your truck and how much mud do you want to clean off the roof. If the answer is lots -38 is what you seek. They look good but in practicality I have only been soso on keeping it long term. I still think -10 with a 285/75r17 is the look and performance sweet spot

And go 8.5 unless your running a 12.5 wide

I know some of you guys may be against this but I’m on a 6” lift with kings all around. I have 20x12 now looking to downgrade from that so I’m hoping that the 17x9 would bring the stance a little bit less aggressive. But also the -38 offset from the scs is what I’m worried about since it’s so close to the 20x12 -44 what I have now

Crazy how that looks like it's far less than mine maybe it's just the picture angle.
    20250425_152834.jpg

I would be far from calling that a downgrade as more rubber works and looks better than all wheel.

But on a lift that high you may regret narrowing your trac width even to a -10 on a lift that high. It'll look squished and may feel less stable side to side i did find mine felt a little more planted after going to a high negetive offset without the front sway bar
