SCS Wheels ordered new but came blemished

Why would you file a CC dispute? Vuth and I decided that only 1 of the 4 wheel is considered a blem. We offered you the option of a $40 refund, exchange that single wheel, or use it as credit towards another wheel. The choice was up to you. These are cast wheels so there will always be some type of flaw if you look hard enough. I felt like our wheels were not up to your standards so I recommended you go buy something local so you can see the quality for yourself. I said 4-5 times in PM that you can return all 4 wheels. You insisted on wanting a bigger refund of $150 which we will not agree to. WE WILL TAKE BACK THE WHEELS!!! What we will not do is exchange this set for another set. We are also refusing to sell you blemished wheels. We're going to lose $150 on total shipping cost coming out of our pocket so we're not going to risk that chance again with you as a customer.

I emailed you 4 UPS shipping labels and I've also sent UPS with labels to pick up the boxes like you requested. You threaten to leave the boxes outside unattended. Do you want them to get stolen so you can't receive a refund? Send the wheels back to us!!!

 

Why would you pay $150 return shipping before offering me the opportunity to buy the wheels at the $150 discount. So you would rather pay $150 return shipping instead of making a new customer and offer me the discount?

 

Unbelievable. You would think some people here think they own a Ferrari, it’s a mid size truck that is meant to be used accordingly. It’s gonna get subjected to other drivers, rocks, dirt, potholes, tire techs that don’t give a fart, etc. they aren’t volks or worcs wheels. And the fact that you feel you needed to file a credit card dispute? And then come on a forum to trash a well liked and reputable vendor...This thread if anything just makes you come off as “that kind of person.”

 

I told you I would keep the wheels just give me a discount “blemished “ price.

 

So If I buy a new truck from the Dealer if it has scratches and dings that’s ok... It’s a truck anyway right....

 

They don’t want you to keep the wheels. Send them back and start a new search for other wheels. You’re getting a full refund here, what more do you want?

 

I don't think Eddie will be lasting long in the truck world. Those little flaws aren't anything my guy... The people that will install these on your truck will subject them to more of those little things you call a "blemish".

@SCSPerformance - give me til July, I’ll buy these same wheels from you guys for my wife’s 4Runner once I pay off my rig.

 

We are refusing you as a customer due to your attitude and demands. Send the wheels back to us in the same condition and we'll refund you back, it's that simple. Just b/c you want $150 doesn't mean we're obligated to do just that.

 

This sounds like a scam to me
