I went through this same dilemma. Ultimately picked the SR8's for my 2010 Taco. Ray 10's are nice too though. Can't go wrong with either.

whoo-hoo.. my 17 inch SR8's matte gunmetal's are on the way,,, thinking of some 285's on them and hope for the best,, sizewise they arnt much bigger than the 275/17's i have on there now, and there is plenty of room,, thats with sema rims,,, i know the scs rims are an inch and a half wider with differant offset. might have to try one tire first to see how they workout

    Plethora of "useless" shit
I haven't received my wheels yet, but here are the recommended extended thread splined lugs.

(purchase individual and spline socket is a separate purchase) or

(24 count M12 x 1.5 comes with a spline socket according to the description)

I would vote for the Ray 10. As nice as the SR8 is, there are other wheels on the market that are very similar. The Ray 10 is more unique, especially in the brushed silver, bronze or gold finishes. I was so tempted to do bronze wheels on my speedway blue Tacoma but was afraid it would look like a Subaru....

I'm really keen on the Ray10s too. I have a MGM gen 3 TRD OR. I can't decide between Bronze or the Matt Gray!

Definitely getting the black studs too. Anyone got an MGM tacoma with Matt Grey rims?

My vote is Ray10. All SCS models are great but I love that classic bullet hole look. I bought lugnuts from the SCS website beforehand. It gives you the option to save all your information. When the wheels were available, I added them to the cart, entered email, got a text with a code, entered the code and checked out. Just a tip for those who keep missing them.
