Sure I would or pay to have it fixed properly I take care of my stuff. I don’t drive beaters so that would get fixed one way or another.

Are you calling my truck a beater?:)

I would never do an insurance claim for something like that. The deductible would be crazy and there is a chance they could drop me.

I think this is the winner!

All of this could be a moot point because the truck was like that when I bought it and the dealer put in writing that they would fix it and they are now reneging. I filed a claim with American Express and they are withholding the $2000 down payment I made, the dealer is shitting bricks!

But, long story short, I could plasti-dip them and remove it if needed?

You ask for recommendations and don’t like what you hear and you are the same one that complained about everyone’s LED answers if you don’t want to hear recommendations don’t ask. You are the the one that needs Midol SIR!

So you gonna wet sand and prep the whole piece for total repaint. The rock chip touch up is meant to be a simple fix it will never look original maybe with a smaller chip and some wet sanding, timely repair and compound/polishing. It's gonna look better but not perfect. I'd probably buy some color matched or black ones myself I like solid solutions if it erks me to look at it. This was just a simple affordable fix that takes away from the eye. Cheers

So a scratched bumper cap makes your vehicle a "beater"? Well ok, then.

How old are you and do you even know how insurance works? You make enough of these piss-ass scratched bumper claims and no one will want insure you! Get educated!

If the dealer has a we-owe listed as bumper repair or repaint just hold them to it. Otherwise spend $9 for plastic dip or another rattle can black and be done. :argue:

    1. You're the only one arguing.
    2. Your the only one who provided a foolish answer, everyone else has been very helpful.
    3. Your foolish answer has been challenged by multiple people here.
    4. Your the only one who inserted insulting, degrading, language in your post.
Do you see the point? I doubt it but it was worth a try.:hattip:

looks like my justification to the wife to add a steel bumper.

Anyone that goes back and reads your thread about LED Headlights will agree with me, like I said you ask for recommendations and don’t like what you hear. LMAO

Yep, they gave me a We-owe and I took it back three times and it is worse now because the bumper is out of alignment.

    Plasti-dip it is.
