Sorry for the crappy pics. It got dark by the time I got home but I think you can get a good idea of the width. I've ran 285's in the past and they are defiantly a lot wider than these. These are my first "skinny" tires and I am very happy with them. @marzooch

You have to cut out the grill and about another inch into the plastic. Their are other mounts that let the bar set behind the grill if you don't want to cut.

Got my ARE V series cap installed and threw on the canopy front runner rack. Install for the canopy rack was simple other than having to grind down the pieces that slide into the yakima tracks.
Now to decide on what RTT to purchase...

Also just started an instagram for the truck build and off road pics: xplor_taco16

Thanks man, I got the roof rack at a discount from a group buy that was recently held here on tacomaworld. I believe it was around 20% off front runners list price. They should be having a black Friday sale.

Looks great! How do you like the ARE cap? Been stuck between that, and Leer.

    Thanks!

I've only had the cap about a week or so but so far I am very impressed with the quality and fit. I also considered Leer and Snugtop but after reading some reviews on all the caps I decided on the ARE.

I paid 2k. Pricing will depend on the options you choose. You can build your cap on ARE's site and a local dealer will send you a quote.

285/75/17 on SCS 6's. ADS front & rear w/ adjusters. Relentless front bumper & roof rack. BAMF sliders

What mounting system do you use for the light bar? Also, how is the light output? I was thinking of getting one for truck as well.

What do you plan on putting on the roof? I ordered a camper shell as well and as cool as a rack is I just can't think of anything to put on it lol
