Are you open to trimming the fenders and a cab mount chop?

I wouldn’t go 285 without being willing to do at least a CMC

To be honest your wheel choice is the biggest hurdle
    upload_2018-12-6_7-51-27.jpg

    ^ Pulled from Falken's website.
The only size in the at3w that'll fit to a 9" wide wheel is the 285/70R17.

(285/75R17 and 315/70R17 both fit the wheel but those are ever bigger tires)

That wheel is wide and a low offset, you're going to need to cut the rear fender well area and most likely get a cab mount chop to alleviate the rubbing.

I think you need to pick a new wheel or pull out a grinder

According to the wheel manufacture those won’t even fit on your truck

That won't change much, because when your suspension compresses it's taking all that extra lift away. ex: pulling into a driveway with the wheel turned your suspension will compress and the tire will rub.

It's not that bad, I had tires that rubbed for years. Get the tires you want and let them self clearance the fender away and get the CMC done after you can't stand people looking over like you're hitting their car as you go to park. It's fun at first but gets old.

From the looks of all the replies, I’ll settle for the 285s. I’ve seen the fender with the same wheel setup we sold to a customer. You’re right, it only rubs when you’re like on a driveway and the wheel is turned at max. Other than that, everything is fine from what the customer stated.
