SD vs OC SoCal GoKart Racing @K1 Carlsbad (TBD)

If I go I will most likely play. I hate not participating. Not saying definitely but there is a good chance.

 

Wear durable pants and a thick jacket. It'll be a hot day, but hopefully we will start early enough to beat the heat and plenty of breaks in the middle.

Oh and boots! There may be snakes hiding in the grass... and I'm not talking about @SocalOC

I have paintballed before. Just about 25 or so years ago. Young man's game. I wasn't very good and really hated to be shot. I am guessin the welts aren't going to go away as fast at 45 as they did when I was 20.

 

Snakes?!? Wtf I'm out.

 

They Don't eat much. You should like snakes. They eat mice and rats that carry the nasty diseasestuff and plagues we don't want

 

You've got a leg up on me, I've enver shot paintball... but the welts will also heal faster... so we're tied? haha

You'll have a gun, shoot them. We probably won't see any, but as a precaution boots would be a good call.

 

Don't forget some gloves if you have some. I just wear my dirt bike ones. Definitely sucks getting shot in the hand

Not as bad as on the neck ... i have a padded hat and a padded neck guard .. dont kniw if they will.still fit

 

$20 for 1/2 day is crazy with your own gear but that's what happens wI think inflation.

When I played a lot "To much fun" is what it was called.
$20 for all day 8-5
Came with a lunch
All day air and 500 rounds paint.

Rental was more.

 

How.long ago was tamhat haha... i went 3 months ago to SC and still paid 28 just for the entrance and free air all day and that was with the group discount

I just got back into it maybe 5 years ago .. but damn its fun even when you get shot its fun because after you get shot once the rest of the day you dont really care about getting shot

Just as a heads up, the paintball park isn't open until Friday. I'll call them to get all the details set and added to the OP once I talk to them.

To get group pricing (as per their website) we need at minimum 15 people.
