The 5th it is then. Who knows, maybe that'll be enough time for me to get my suspension finished. :spending:

Just deciding on the details really. What UCAs, upper spacer, clamshell bushing, brake lines etc.

Possibility. I'll keep checking back today to see what shapes up.

Yep. Bought new by my Grandfather. He gave it to me about two years back. Rebuilt the motor, brakes, some other stuff and got it back on the road after about 10 years in the garage. It's the family heirloom

Such fun cars. I had a 1972 2.0. Loved that car.

Definitely a lot of fun and rewarding being tasked with maintaining the family ride. It's got a 1911 with Weber 40's now. More to come eventually but we're working on finishing the truck right now .

Nice. The og fuel injection was my downfall. Fuel line ruptured and it burned to the ground near Camp Pendleton. Haha

Wasn't that a common problem with them? I seem to remember a lot of them going up in smoke.

    That sucks.

Back in the late sixties some of the geniuses at VW/Porsche thought they could use this space age material called plastic for the fuel lines. The lines from the tank in the front, under the car to the motor and back to the front were both plastic. Literally the first things I replaced when I got the car.
