    did you guys end up gusseting the spindles?

    and will those gas cans hold up through high speeds and mad bucking how they are?

    Thanks, gas cans will hold no problem, regarding the spindle gussets its more of a thing that we will only do if the customer asks for it. We have yet to see any of our vehicles come back with any spindle issues however we do acknowledge that other people have had issues with them in the past. I feel like there has already been enough debate about welding on cast items that it doesn't need to be covered again you know? They are clearly the weak spot on the front end of these trucks which is why if we are going to "gusset" a spindle we prefer to box and plate the entire thing like we have done on the FJ project and will be doing on the shop Taco in the coming weeks as opposed to welding up one that can be purchased. Consider it gusseting a gusset upon a gusset if you will.

    Painted :cool: and customer preference. SUA and a bed cage just isn't for everyone. But the Deaver J66s and Icon 2.5 Remote Resi's will soak the biggest stuff just fine :D
