Good morning all. Looking for folks that have recently purchased a Tacoma In the Southeast US. It seems that there is no incentives, rebates and so on in this region. I am going to buy a Tacoma end of March. End of the month and end of the quarter. Should be a few discounts out there. I am going to shot for 10% below MSRP. The average from what I can see in this area is 7-11 %. Not looking for an OR or Sport model, just a DC with a V6 in Quicksand.

 

Have you looked at Eastern Shore Toyota in Spanish Fort, AL? I haven’t purchased from there but I’ve heard nothing but good things. Only time I go to the Ft Walton Toyota is to see Ben at the parts department. Lol

 

Yes. They send me emails with their deals. Also get emails from Bob Taylor in P-cola, Bondy in Enterprise, and Panama city. FWB does not show any discounts, incentives, and so on. Made the mistake a few days ago to go there to just look at the height from Ground level to the cab. I have back problems and will need boards. I no sooner parked next to a very similiar Taco, a sales man came out of nowhere with the pressure sales pitch. Wanted to know if I was ready to buy. told him no and that I was already working with another salesman. I was a little short with him.

going to look at them all on line today since the big push for end of moth is over so to speak.

The best way I've found to buy a new vehicle is to email every dealer within 100 miles of your house (except the dealership that you actually want to buy from). Ask for their lowest out the door price, explain you are shopping around. Once you get all the prices back, split them into two groups (this can be random).

Email the first group with the lowest price you received and see if they can beat it. Collect those prices.

Email the second group with the new lowest price and see if they can beat it. You can continue this until all the dealerships drop out and you have one low price.

Then take that price to the dealership you haven't talked to yet and ask them to match it (not beat it). They will and you'll save thousands.
