Today i ran SeaFoam through the Vacuum Line attached to the brake booster. I ran just about half the can through it with some moderate white smoke coming out the exhaust. Shut the engine off, let it sit 15 minutes, started it up ran it aggressively for 3-5 miles.

Improvements: Smoother/quieter idle, gear shifts smoother, increased acceleration.

All around, very happy with the result from an $8 can.

Let me know if you have similar success or have experianced issues with direct application of this product.

Been using Seafoam for over 7 years in all my cars. Haven't given the treatment to the Taco yet, but I will at 100k.

I ran a whole can through the vacuum line route over the course of about a week, and I noticed a pretty good improvement in the way the truck idled and cruised.

Just be careful, because too much seafoam through the intake will kill your catalytic converters.

I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
I have been using it for years, started on my mustang gt. works great, be careful at first, use about 1/2 can in line, and dump rest in gas tank, esp at first. but when you do it run her good, don't shut it off, I would head out of the city a bit, go to a shopping center by the highway and then jump back on the highway and let her run for about 20 mins. to really blow the shit out.

Agreed...first place I heard of it was on MustangForums and I used it on my 99 GT. Worked like a charm.

It really smoothed out my trucks idle and increase the accelaration in the pendles...

I've read on these boards alot more positive reviews than negative so i think i'll keep using it.

He is kinda right...except when the engine in running, and the seafoam is being drawn into the motor under vacuum the liquid just wont fall and pool, it will be drawn where the suction is going. Plus, if you add it slow enough it should mist a bit because of the rushing air in the vacuum, and it should mist it a bit almost like a nebulizer.

I'll probably put some Kano Kreen in a few hundred miles before my next oil change. I've read good stuff but that the solvents in it are quite strong so don't run too much of it for to long.
