I have a 99 prerunner 2wd 2.7L. Where is the vacuum line to add seafoam to? Anyone have pictures to where this vacuum is? Does anyone also have instructions for adding the seafoam? What's the best method - vacuum, gas, or oil? Will adding seafoam only make the engine run better temporarily like fuel injector cleaner or octane boost would? Or will adding seafoam make the car run better for a longtime? Thanks

In my 3.4 it was right next to the brake fluid container. There's a pic floating around here somewhere.
I ran it through my vacuum line and I've heard it does well in a gas tank. If you put it in your oil, you have to change oil in the next few hundred miles.
Also, my truck ran great to begin with, so I didn't notice a change.

cant find the picture for the 2.7L vaccum tube to add seafoam. I believe its that black circular plate looking thing that is against the firewall - the hose comming out is where i add to vacuum line but again, I am not sure. I was also wondering why it is recommended to get an oil change after adding seafoam. Is this only if you add seafoam to the oil or gas? I am adding seafoam to vacuum line. Does this ultimately go into the engine and mix in with the oil? not sure how this works. thanks guys

Yes, you are looking at the correct hose. I cant find the pic now either but the hose you're talking about is the right one.

You only need to change your oil after if you add Seafoam to your oil. If you add it to your vacuum line then you don't need to do anything except drive around for 20 mins.

I put it in the gas tank of my 2007 2.7 for the first time at 94k miles and I started it to let it idle, after a minute or two it started to belch out black smoke (roll coal lol) because I had so much trash in my engine, but after it got done I drove it around the block. The tank before the sea foam was 16.6 mpg, the tank after was 20.2. So it definitely worked in the gas tank, I'm no help on the 2.7 vacuum line location but I know on any vehicle, seafoam will make it puke white smoke from the exhaust depending on the amount. I know because me and some friends did it as a prank lol
