i have found drain and fills extremely beneficial on all the vehicles i have owned. they always shift better with new fluid ime.

I spoke with a dealership about it, and came away with a sense is that they know that they don't properly maintain their fluid flush machines and are afraid of contaminating your tranny. It sounded like they'd much rather do a drain/fill than a flush.

Not sealed . Thats a gimmick you can service your transmission your self , youtube it . A dealership also can service it for you, which is my choice . I rather have them screw up and not me .

All i can say is i changed the atf in my 2001 tundra every 15k miles as the manual claimed for the way i operated my truck. 19 years later and nearly 300k miles that transmission still worked like it did when new. Back then it was regular dextron 3 atf.

I drain and fill every 30K, had 325K on the 4Runner when we sold it, got 59550K on the Tacoma, just going to do another d&f. Do whatever you want, when the transmission fails, replace it and keep wheeling. Frame will probably rust in half before the transmission fails. Good luck with your truck.
