Sealing Weathertech floor mats.

    1" lift from 3rd gen suspension, 265/75/16 ATs
    For those of you who have sealed the extra floor hooks holes on your Weathertech mats, what did you use? I tried some black silicone, but I don't think that worked out too well.

    On my 4Runner I used painters tape to seal off the back and then filled with clear silicone. Worked well. Trading in the 4Runner next week on a new Tacoma. :)

    I used JB Weld after taping off the underside with masking tape. A close match color wise if you have the grey mats.

    I added some gorilla glue into the mix and that seems to be holding ok now so far.
