Drop it down 3/4" or so then you aren't having to worry about screwing up. It looks pretty damn good to me. Compound curves create an optical illusion. You're doin' good

Bring it down around the fog lights. You can look at the last page, I have several pics where you can see the cut line.

I believe i would try and do my test fitting without the winch installed. When it is to your liking then you may remove the bumper, install the winch, then reinstall the bumper. No need in fighting all the extra weight

And I am stuck .... haha. Tried getting the wife to help with the jack but it keeps falling off when I get close. My garage beams are not in great shape and make awful noises when my 185lb ass hang from one so I'm afraid to pout more weight than that on them. Trying to find a dude to help me but I'm new in Idaho and no friends yet lol. Might be out of commission for a while until I figure this out.

probably about 210-215lbs with the winch. I know mine was heavy AF without the winch. Probably 140-150lbs if I had to guess

Yeah a 2nd set of hands would be ideal. Hope you get it sorted out soon.

Found a work friend to come help me out in trade for some hunting clothes haha ( gotta love north Idaho) . I had to cut off some support brackets that were blocking the winch and also had to remove the stock recovery hook and it slipped right on! Now to finish wiring the winch and re assemble time. Man this bumper looks sooooo good, I'm freakin pumped right now!

Do you know it's ready to just mount up and be done with it? If not remove the winch and you can pick the bumper up and hang it while your wife starts the nuts, no stupid comments, check your fit until you have it where you want it. If yu know it's ready get her to work the jack while you hold the bumper still on top of it. Get it in position and get her to start the nuts. Having her do just that little bit will really help.

Looking good dude! Hope you put the grill back in before your “friend” left...you can’t take it off/on with the bumper in place.

you might be able to back the mounting nuts to the end of the studs and pull the bumper back far enough to make it fit back in. :notsure:

I'm sorry about the instructions thing. Not having a 3rd gen I am pretty useless. Also errrrrr ummmmm that is one of our weak points and on my project list for this year.

I tried. I've been looking at a bunch of different YouTube videos from companies on installs of different items. It's something that would really step up our game.
