There's a few threads on this subject but I have some questions...
I'll be combing a few local junkyards soon..
    1) please give me your ideas on what different vehicles I can look for..
    2) I'm hoping to find two buckets in black leather..
    3) As far as hardware underneath, I know I can get those online and fit it to the seats I find, but can I take the existing seats ( factory) and use that hardware ? Might be cheaper to buy new and sell my seats..
    4) I've seen lots of choices for seats here, but I HAVE found some great seats also..( an example is a Audi A4 ) that had a beautiful pair...That being said, I'm thinking as long as the dimensions are close to my original seats, they ..might..work. ?
    5) I realize there is a bunch differences in the way the replacement seat might only slide fwd to back, ( & other things I've read here)
So any advice Ya'll can give me will be much appreciated..Thanks big !

Why not just take your seats to an upholstery shop and they can make a seat however you like and it will bolt up without brackets or mods.

I really have my heart set on a set of leather seats..And its a money thing as well..But it is possible I will wind up doing the upholstery route in the end..I imagine I could afford that and just have both buckets modified for comfort..We plan on using my truck for some travels too..I want to add a condo in the bed for some shorter trips anyway...Once we get another motor home, that'll solve most of it eventually..Thanks !
